Snow and a Winter Carnival in Ybor City

There is snow in the forecast for Ybor City! Come see it snow this Saturday, December 15th, as 7th Avenue will get a taste of winter with synthetic snow. Snow will fall from the rooftops and balconies of shops starting at 7pm.

Gabe is graduating from USF with his Masters in Mental Health and Rehabilitation on Saturday night. After the commencement, we will head down to Ybor City with the family and check out the festivities on 7th. Mayor Bob Buckhorn and special visitors, Santa & Mrs. Claus will lead the Holiday Parade. Marching bands, Rockette-style kickline, holiday music revue, and horse drawn carriages down 7th Avenue, one of the “10 Greatest Streets in America.”

The parade will end at 1400 E. 7th Ave and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos at Centro Ybor after the parade. The Winter Carnival takes place at 14th Street & 7th Avenue, and runs until 2 a.m. This free, family-friendly events start at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 15.
