Mangroves South Tampa new weekend brunch menu

Wednesday, February 20, 2013
This past weekend we were invited to a Brunch tasting at Mangroves in South Tampa (along with nearly every Tampa blogger I know). This was my first visit to Mangroves and it will surely not be my last. Mangroves Brunch menu has everything on it from chicken and bacon waffles, truffle scrambled eggs, huevos rancheros and much much more. Plus they offer a $10 unlimited mimosa. Yes ma'am!

Speaking of Mimosa's we were greeted in style with a mimosa, bloody mary (or both in my case). I was double fisting proudly!
The blogger brunch was served in a family dining setting and so we could try a few of the dishes on the menu. Almost all of the items were available and the group of bloggers were able to try different things. The Eggs Benedict over toasted brioche was absolutely amazing. I loved the brioche and would absolutely order this again.
At this time, the chicken and bacon waffles walked by and I pouted for nearly 10 minutes because it went to another group of tables. This was the one thing I really wanted but it gives me another reason to return to Mangroves really soon in the future. Next on our plate was Truffle Scrambled Eggs. I am not particular fond of truffle but everyone else seemed to enjoy them.
I went to visit a few other tables and saw the West Coast Toast, a grand mariner infused french toast which I was told is very sweet but good, an egg sandwich and a beautiful salad with a ton of avocados on it. I meandered back to my side of the room to find  Huevos Rancheros being served. This was another incredible egg dish which had chorizo in the sauce. It was the perfect amount of spicy and smoke.
