The Capital Grille New Burgers

I have joked around for quite sometime that I am a self-proclaimed Burger snob. Joking aside, I would give up a whole chocolate cake for a bite of the perfect cheeseburger. The burger is my biggest vice and to date, my biggest enemy during the wedding diet.

With that said, I graciously accepted an invitation to try out the new burger selection at The Capital Grille's. I have dined at The Capital Grille plenty of times but have never had one of their burgers. The new burgers include: Kona Crusted Wagyu Burger with Shallot Mayo Wild Mushroom; Wagyu Cheeseburger with 15-year Aged Balsamic; Oscar-style Wagyu Burger with Jumbo Lump Crab and Bearnaise.
My favorite burger from the new line up was hands down the Kona Crusted Wagyu Burger with Shallot Mayo Wild Mushroom. This burger was perfect beyond words. Gabe and I actually agreed to split our burgers half and half. After a few bites, I demanded my second half of the Wagyu mushroom burger back.
Gabe ordered the Oscar-style Wagyu Burger with Jumbo Lump Crab and Bearnaise. This delicous burger is very decadent and a bit too much after 3 bites.

Overall, we were both impressed by The Capital Grille's burgers and look forward to our next trip back!

  2. Wow. Burger snob ;) 2 burger posts in a row. What are you trying to do to me?!? I've been eating so good and now you've got me craving a reallllly luscious burger. I agree, Gabe's sounds like a bit too much. I just don't think you can combine delicate seafood...and rich bernaise with a burger. Just flawed if you ask me. BUT...your burger, well, that's my kinda burger. I love mushroom anything...
