Cravebox Cooking Light Select Series

Tuesday, November 13, 2012
When I saw Cravebox was joining forces with Cooking Light for a box, I knew I had to get in. I applied and waited patiently, eventually getting an email on October 28th to notify me I was accepted for this box. YAY! I then forgot about all about it. This is what happens when you receive too many subscription boxes. I went to the mail two weeks later and found a huge box waiting for me. What is this I thought? No way could it be a subscription box, it was too big and heavy. Well I was wrong. This isn't a little blue box, it is a huge blue box. White ribbon and all. I like blue boxes.
What's inside!! I knew from the weight and size, there were some good things to come. This box was $13 including shipping and upon opening, I quickly realized that everything was full sized. No tiny samples here!
Dole Fruit Crisp
The first thing my eyes picked up on was three packages of Dole Fruit Crisp, Apple Pear, Apple Cinnamon and Peach. Although I am a Dole Blogger, I have yet to try this product out. Bowls of juicy Dole fruit with a sauce and a crispy, crumbly topping made with whole grain oats and brown sugar. They can be tried out at room temperature, chilled from the fridge or heated briefly in the microwave. I had the Apple Cinnamon for breakfast this morning and loved it.
I then squealed really loud. Torani Sugar Free Salted Caramel Syrup!!!!! I cannot express my excitement over this. Speaking of coffee, how about a bag of Tully's French Roast! Neither of these were sample sized products. The retail value alone on these combined items are more than what my box would have cost me at the store. I had the syrup in my coffee this morning and found a new addiction!
Next up, a box of Splenda Nectresse. Perfect timing as I can cross off Splenda from my grocery list. The newest member to Splenda's family is 100% natural made from Monk Fruit. Along with the box of Splenda came a nectresse cookbook.
Last but not least was not one, but two McCormick Perfect Pinch Garlic & Herb salt free spices with 7 salt free seasoning. I always cook with Garlic and try my hardest to control Sodium so anytime I will buy seasonings which are salt free. This seasoning also came with a recipe to make Garlic & Herb Lemon Chicken.

This was my favorite box to date from any of the subscription boxes I belong to. I received an email over the weekend announcing I was selected for the Knorr Ultimate Thanksgiving Box, which I will promptly write about upon arrival!

Boo-Kitty loves Cravebox too, so much that he pulled the tissue out of the box! You can sign up for Cravebox and enter to be notified for upcoming boxes by clicking here. When you get the notification that the box has opened, you need to register quickly. What I like about Cravebox is that you choose which boxes you want to participate in.
