Flemings Bar la Carte Menu

I am a big fan of Happy Hour dining. I love sitting at the bar with my girlfriends, drinking  half off martini's or wine while eating cheap bites. What I dislike about Happy Hour is that I always feel rushed to order by a certain time.

When Fleming's Steakhouse introduced their Bar la Carte menu, I knew my Happy Hour dilemma was solved. It's the freedom of dining at the bar, at your own pace. 7 menu selections that are generous enough to share at a low price. While they still offer the 5 for $6 til 7:00 menu, this is a great option for those who want to dine at Flemings Bar and aren't able to make it to Happy Hour.
Off the menu, my favorite item was the Housemade Burrata with charred grape tomatoes, wild arugula, served with toasted garlic crostinis. It was perfect cheesey deliciousness.
Housemade Burrata $12
One item that took me by surprise was Prime Steakhouse Meatballs. While I was expecting a really good meatball, I didn't foresee a Swedish Meatball. My Great Grandpa was off the boat 100% Swedish. Every holiday, my Nanny would make her famous Swedish Meatballs. As I got older, I was allowed to help her make the meatballs. Nowadays, I can recreate them but they will never be as good as hers were. When I popped one of these bad boys in my mouth, I felt a sense of nostalgia that nearly brought me to tears.
Prime Steakhouse Meatballs (aka Swedish Meatballs) $9
Salt & Pepper Shrimp with crispy french green beans were excellent. Missing from the description is the circular item you are about to consume is actually a fried lemon wheel. I will be frying lemons from now on. Amazing!
Salt & Pepper Shrimp $15
I'm a flatbread kind of gal - so when I saw the Filet Mignon Flatbread, I knew I had a new friend. Mixed with Danish Blue cheese and Monterrey Jack cheese, how could you go wrong?
Filet Mignon Flatbread $12
Speaking of flatbread, they have a cedar roasted mushroom and artichoke flatbread with Monterrey jack cheese, roasted red peppers and Christopher Ranch garlic. It was insanely good and vegie friendly.
Cedar Roasted Mushroom and Artichoke Flatbread $11

  2. YUM! I love small bites and sitting at the bar to eat too! I'm definitely going to need to check out Flemings sometime. There's one pretty close to my house and we never remember that it's there! Thanks for the heads up!
